No, or if so, very small dose: iodine overdose can be dangerous, like cooper and iron...and I much enjoy getting the bulk of my iodine from kelp extract. Moreover, a lot of people get the DRI of iodine from table salt, and iodine deficiencies are relatively rare and mild.
