Please help to protect years of scientific research that is in danger of being ripped up by people who fear GM and all that is "not natural"...I'm not going to rant on the final point as normal either. Here is the link:

Any updates on this? I tend to agree with you but would love to see a debate unfold on it here and get more insight on the matter. A better understanding of cases like this helps us with the indefinite life extension cause too.

An update is that mercifully, the crops were not destroyed like Take The Flour Back threatened and demonstrations went peacefully. Also as far as I know, the research is still well underway.
