I wanted to get some feedback from other members who take noopept.

Do you follow the manufacturer's guidelines and go three months on, one month off? Or do you just take it continuously?

I've been getting utterly fantastic effects from 50mg a day and I'm hesitant to go off it for a month, but it does seem like the sort of thing that I wouldn't want to screw around with. It would be horrific to somehow end up with an impaired capacity for neurogenesis, or whatever other unforseen consequence could occur as the result of this stuff.

I'd like to just take this nonstop like piracetam, but there doesn't seem to be enough longterm evidence to justify doing that.

Thoughts? How do you approach noopept? Breaks, or nonstop use? Should I be concerned that I've been taking it daily for five months?

The worst I have heard about Noopept is in regards to short term memory loss and loss of libido. I found that taking a break every so often makes the positive effects more pronounced especially the calming aspect, if I use it for too long consecutively it makes me a little irritable.

Just wanted to bump this to see if anyone can provide any more feedback. I'd hate to go off the noopept, but on the other hand I'd also be wary of experimenting with little-known drugs that have a profound impact on my cognitive functioning. I'm assuming there must be a good reason why the manufacturers recommend short-term use followed by a month long break, since as far as I know none of the racetams carry that same recommendation.

I plan on following the manufacturer's guidelines, roughly 60 day on, 30 days washout period off.

The biggest subjective risk with non-stop use is tolerance. In my case it seems to me irreversible. I get almost zero subjective effects from the stuff these days, even after lengthy breaks from it. Do the cycling, if for nothing else to preserve the effects.

Different members have postulated that the cycling is suggested due to the supposed increase noopept causes on bdnf and ngf. I think it goes that long term increases in bdnf in the brain causes a disturbance with tkrb. Can't remember off the top of my head but that should give you some terms to search for (unless I totally misspelled most of that, apologies from my phone)

Just found this topic bro, hope your still reading it. I would say cycling your noopept every month or so is your best bet. On for a month or so, off for 7-10 days. I have tried noopept on a regular basis from small doses all the way to around 300mg just for a trial. 300mg is a mega dose i just trialled for effect, i don't recommend you do this on a regular basis. I found by sticking to a typical dose and cycling it stops your tolerance building up as fast as normal similar to what other users have said, also i would suggest cutting the dose from 50mg to around 25-30 and perhaps using some other nootropics to sync with your Noopept for greater effect. .... P.s. just my views but all of the talk about lowering libido and such seems to be BS. Experienced none of that myself... Just my views again but i have been taking this for quite a while and make careful note of any changes in mood etc. What is your current stack bro on a daily basis aside from noopept?
