So this is my little story. I hate flossing because it makes my gums bleed. I started taking a couple tablespoons of flax seed oil for omega 3 (fish oil gives me a headache) about a month ago. I found that flossing didn't hurt anymore and that my teeth and gums in general don't seem to hurt anymore or bleed like they used to. This is pretty amazing. If you are having problems with sore gums I'd say try some flax seed oil. Also the problems seem to come back when I stop the flax seed oil so I'm pretty sure that's what it is.
