Hello, I'm new to nootropics and want some suggestions about the stack i'm considering to order.

Background: I'm 21yrs old and in college. I smoke cigarettes everyday, occasionally drink and smoke pot. I workout everyday(Recently started, mainly to gain weight & fitness)

I do have good(or rather average) short & long term memory. But struggle due to scattered thoughts, difficulty in finding words, lack of focus & concentration & motivation to study or do any tasks!! Kindly help out.

Nootropic experience: I'm from India and have tried the generic modafinil (modalert 200mg-im pretty sure this was genuine) & armodafinil 50mg available here. As for modafinil, i took 3 doses a day,the first day had a very subtle increase in focus feeling but from 2nd day felt nothing except for decreased apetite.

As for armodafinil, i just took these 3 times a day for 3days, had no effects at all on focus or concentration except that it kept me awake all night. Also after 5 days, i noticed red skin rashes in armpit which then i found out is an allergic reaction to this tab for many.

I'm planning to order my first nootropic from powdercity(HSW) after much research on longecity & reddit.

Since i've a very limited budget(~ $30) i decided to go with this stack:

Noopept 5g (30mg/day)

Choline bitratrate 100g ( 1g/day)

ALCAR 50g (1g/day)

Caffeine Anhydrous 50g (100mg/day)

L-Theanine 20g (100mg/day)

My goal is to obtain focus or concentration & also clarity of thoughts to study and also do tasks.

Suggestions please...

I'm sorta shocked that modafinil has that reaction for so many people. That is some powerful, work steroids for me.

So I'm not going to pretend to be a noots expert. I have tired many many diffrent kinds from, nuvigil, provigil, hydrafinil, a shit ton of racetams, and damn near everything else I can get my hands on.

I will tell you hands down, for actual healthy clean focus. Start meditating. meditation+noots= mini- buddah...... mini-buddah= dominate at anything you decide to focus on.

I can rant all day about this, I'm new to the forum and I am sure others have already done this. I want to make a post in the forum about it.

Also getting in the habit of doing 4 hours of homework a day(at the very minimum) will secure your success in your academic endeavors.

That being said, my final thoughts on successful longterm noot use: they are the little extra to an already well functioning system.

I have been reading a ton of stuff on this these forums with people new to nootrpoics looking to find the magic pill. When in actuality is pretty damn evident that they need to do some work.

Looks like a nice little stack you got going on your budget. I like it. You definitively put some thought into this.

That being said can someone please tell me why you would take, "Caffeine Anhydrous 50g (100mg/day)" over a cup of coffee(other than taste reasons)?

Exactly my thought. I don't think these to be some super cognitive pill like NZT 48 frm the movies.

I just want these to supplement to my existing abilities to just make it better overtime. I do have quite good memory and fast grasping.

My main problem is i can hardly concentrate about 20mins at a time and hardly get motivated to do anything much.
As you suggested yes i think meditation will also help.

Also with the above stack, i plan on taking bacopa and ashwaganda which i can purchase locally and its dirt cheap

Is money an issue? Because a stack with Noopept 30mg 3x daily with 800mg oxiracetam in the morning and around 200mg pramiracetam, might work better

I do love me some coluracetam, I'll have to do some research on pitolisant, and nsi-189 I haven't heard of either of them. But I do take Noopept, coluracetam, pramiracetam, piracetam, oxiracetam, aniracetam, phenypiracetam, and centrophenoxine everyday. I have a post in here about it. I think it was titled something about taking the most racetams at once. I've been looking for some stuff to add. Any suggestions?

How do you distinguish the effects? What's your feeling on phenyl piracetam and do you believe it's one of your best racetams?

Ha ha, yeah man. Just a few

To distinguish them, I've got a very keen sense of what makes me feel a certain way, and what makes me feel different. But that comes along from testing them all out individually for 2 weeks each, and then testing them in combination. I've tried almost every possible combination of them for a week at a time, and for the past 90 days combined them all at once. Although depending on what I'm doing that day I adjust the doses, but in my thread I just stated my baseline for everyday use.

Phenylpiracetam is a great one for my stack, but for cognitive enhancement I don't notice much. I generally use it for a mental stamina boost or if my ootd doesn't have a jacket involved when it's cold outside. Those are the most pronounced effects I've noticed. I do gain a bit of a memory spike, but it's better for keeping up with mental tasks the whole day, and potentiates aniracetam well. This enables me to keep up with the challenges of talking with everyone at work and balancing relationships. I've gotten social engineering down to where I get mentally tired of thinking what to say to different people, phenylpiracetam just allows me to keep going.
