Well, I'm a vegan (for ethical reasons not health reasons) and on calorie restriction (although I have doubts CR works in people) and so I do the cronometer thing and try to stay with RDA. I take B12, vitamin D, and zinc sometimes to meet shortfalls from diet.
What are proven/working supps you take, if any, and why?Resveratrol seems so, like, five years ago hullabaloo. If it did anything, we'd likely know it by now. Millions take it -- who's getting younger? No one. Save your $17.84 Autoship Private Member bottle and put ur money into savings for when real rejuvination becomes brighter on the horizon. Same goes for NR & Mitoq and all the rest of this shit. It's like a carnival.
Serious question.
Ahem, I do fall for fads, I admit. I bought six bottles of NR, and I'm slowly working my way through these. I've not noticed anything from NR. My blood work hasn't changed. And I took about a tablespoon a week of homebrew c60 in olive oil for two years. I noticed very precious little, if anything, from c60. Wish I could say I did notice great things. People report reduced hangovers from alcohol, but I don't drink alcohol. People report physical exercise improvements, I didn't notice that myself. So I've been off c60oo for five about months now, and have not noticed the absence one way or another. I tried a few days of really high dose quercetin. Why? I forget. Cancer prevention? Next up I'll try upping glycine. I know nothing, frankly. But I'm extremely healthy and feel pretty great.
Thanks for the quick response.
Re: Quercetin megadosing - perhaps because of this?
