HI all,

I'm fairly new to the nootropics and started out with noopept, hoping to find an alternative for my methylfenidate.

The first day I tried about 15 mg, which gave me a pleasant clarity, followed by two smaller dosages (about 5 and 10 mg) later that day.

I have been experimenting with it for some days, but i got some unpleasant effects two days ago. I used 15 mg around 9am, another 15 mg around 12:00 and another 15 mg around 14:00.

That last dose (15 mg at 14) might have been to soon and too much, but i felt really fogged and even a bit detached in an unpleasant way. Where it initially gave me a lot of clarity, it now gave me a sort of zoned out, zombie like feeling.

Yesterday I used just 15 mg in the afternoon, but it had the same effect after an initial clarity.

I have been trying to add choline to my diet, first with 1 or 2 eggs in the morning, but later with lecithine (some spoons) and hennepproteine powder. Maybe that's not enough, or a wrong way to proceed.

So now I am wondering:

- is there something i'm not doing right?

- is the dose noopept too high?

- maybe noopept is just not the right thing for me?

- should i add more choline, or something else, to the stack?

- the noopept seems to work very short with me: about 2 hours, and then the clarity fades away. Should i just have some more patience with it, and stay longer on a low dose to see those effects increase? Or is that the maximum effect i can get out of it?

Thanks for helping me out!

I think this topic http://www.longecity...or-thumbs-down/sums up the negative experiences i had. Seems like i'm just one of those people that react negatively to noopept.... :(

Noopept is not a good starter Nootropic, it's also not really consistent. Do some research on Piracetam, much more proven smart drug.

Yes it could be not suitable for You, I remember to read here on longecity also bad reports even for Piracetam even with lasting sie effects e.g. 1-2 months.

On the other hand, this negatve experiences were not often reported.

What you did wrong was buy Noopept in the first place. In my opinion it's a very overrated nootropic. It seems to work for a minority of the nootropic community and does little to absolutely nothing for the majority. The minority that experience

positive effects from it hype it up and make it seem as though it has a greater effect on most people than it actually does. I'd stay away from it. My experience with noopept was positive for the first day but after it made me extremely fatigued and

emotional.

If you're not struggling with brain fog or any other cognitive issues I'd recommend piracetam. I've had a lot of success with piracetam and believe most in the nootropic community have as well. Or look into the Mr. Happy stack, which some

really seem to benefit from. It consist of Uridine, CDP choline or Alpha GPC, and fish oil. I've tried out the stack and it helped with mood, motivation, and focus.

I think you're right :) already ordered some, along with some Pramiracetam and some Sunifiram. Curious to see what those will do...

In the meantime, i think I just overdosed on the noopept. Lately I tried some 10 mg, and it gave me a clear and lucid experience for 2-4 hours. However, there seems to be some weird quality, almost a little bit depersonalising, about it. I consider ordering a milligramscale aswell, because the milligramrange is quite difficult to get, even with the small scope.

The noopept definitely has something weird about it, not sure if it is as harmless as some say. A low LD50 doesn't always mean that it is benificial... Haven't made my mind up yet, but I'm more cautious with it now.

I'm diagnosed with ADHD, and really searching for some alternatives to the methylfenidate. I tried microdosing LSD, which is very interesting but does not consistently help with the procrastinating. It does a lot of interesting things, but the fast tolerance building is also something that's not ideal.

Thanks for pointing towards the Mr Happy stack, never heard of Uridine but I will look it up. First going to experiment with my order thats underway, to see what experience i get with that.
