I was thinking of getting the Life Extension Food Safe Allergy report done, for $200 (http://www.lifeexten...ergy-Blood-Test).

I've heard some good things anecdotally on a podcast, but also know that food sensitivity tests are only so reliable. For example, Chris Kresser has spoken about how inaccurate they can be and that at the end of the day, you really need to do an elimination diet to figure it out.

The test has tons of foods on it - far more than I could possibly handle in any reasonable time period for an elimination diet. I was thinking that the test may be helpful to guide me on which foods to immediately remove from my diet to see how I feel, but this is only worthwhile if it's catching the foods that have a major impact on me.

The #1 thing I'm looking to improve is my energy / how I feel after sleep. Right now, even 10 hours doesn't leave me feeling energized and doctors haven't helped. At the same time, $200 ain't cheap, and I only want to spend it if there's a high likelihood that it will improve how I feel.

What do you think?
