Hi all. I mentioned before my dad is in hospital suffering from a hypoxic brain injury. Anyway, I got him prescribed on some probiotic supplements and today he had some green bile coming up in his mouth during a one hour period. His abdomen is quite swollen and he is in a bit of pain and has some gas. Bear in mind he gets fed with a PEJ (directly to the jej) and has no stomach or spleen. I'm thinking, should we stick to the probiotics? Why is it causing this for him? I don't want to damage his bowels...
