The New York Transhumanist Association is holding a one-day Transhumanist symposium at New York University. The symposium, titled "World Futures: The Science of Humanity in the Epoch of Technology," will run from 4 PM to 10 PM on Friday, February 21. It is sponsored by Colleges Against Cancer and organized by the NYTA.
The event will feature two to three featured speakers and eight to 12 panelists. It will cover human life extension, environmental challenges and responses, directed evolution of humanity, morphological freedom and future definitions of "human."
