So I'm 24 and started taking selegiline Hcl from AllDayChemist, I'm taking it because I was addicted to smoking for 5 years and quit a year ago. I want to repair any damage to my dopamine pathways caused by nitotine addiction. I read that it's usually an MAO B inhibitor at doses bellow 10mg but it can build up quickly, so one should be careful not to take too much and avoid tyramine containing foods as a precaution. Make sure you get your doctor’s advice before starting deprenyl if you're reading this thread.
I plan to take 2.5 mg twice a week from now on. In terms of alcohol consumption I'll limit myself to gin and vodka from now on. Any thoughts on alcohol with selegiline?

Woke up, took my supplements: zinc/magnesium/calcium, ~100mg resveratrol (with Quercetin and Trans-Pterostilbene), 200mg turmeric with black pepper, 2 algae omega 3 EPA DHA oil capsules, b12 methylcobalamin, 600mg aniracetam and 300mg sulbutiamine, 2 floradix iron tablets (also has some B vitamins), 50mg ashwagandha from Now, 50 mg Rhodiola from Veridian, 10 mg vinpocetine
I took my first dose of 5mg after drinking a bottle of Prosecco with my pal during lunch (I know this was irresponsible). I took it with a further 600mg aniracetam and 300mg sulbutiamine and didn't notice a huge difference, probably due to the alcohol. My friend also took some and said he was really aggressive at a party later. I had a headache after getting home from drinks, not sure why but I doubt it was hypertension because that was my first dose ever thus little chance of MAO A inhibition right? Took 450mg magnesium citrate and 3 mg melatonin to get some sleep.

I took all my usual supplements except for sulbutiamine which I'll cycle. I took 1200mg aniracetam and 2.5mg selegiline. About 2 hours later I felt a very noticeable effect, in the tube colours seemed to really pop. I also felt euphoric and self-confident but also a little irate at times. 4 hours later as I am writing this I feel slightly tired but very calm and self-confident. I don't think I've felt this way since I was about 19. Not sure which effects can be attributed to the aniracetam since both are new.
