Hello everyone, I just figured i'd give a current update on what I am taking in the morning based on my research. I am a 12 th grade highschool student and trying to study to be a neurobiologist with emphasis on molecular and cellular neurobiology.

Mechanism of Action (Primary Purpose)
Adderall XR 30 mg Norepinephrine-Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitor (NDRI)
Tenex 1 mg a2A agonist (emphasis on Prefrontal Cortex (PFC)'s + Locus Correlus (LC)'s Norepinephrine (NE) autoreceptors)
Effexor 150 mg Selective Seritonin Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitor (SNRI)
Lithium Carbonate 750 mg Glycose Synthase Kinase 3 Beta (GSK3B) Inhibition alteration of gene expression enhanced seritonin released during depolaration in raphe nuclei neurons inhibition of PARP-1 (via inhibition of pAp-phosphate increasing levels of pAp (3'-5' phosphoadenosine phosphate) Nitrous Oxide Synthase Inhibition (NOSi) increasing inositol triphosphate via inhibition of enzyme inositol monophosphatase
Nuvigil 225 mg Dopamine Transporter (DAT) Inhibition Histamine releasing agent Seritonin  in amydala and frontal cortex norepiinephrine in hypothalamus and ventrolaterol preoptic nucleus CaMKII dependant exocytosis of gap junctions between GABAergic Interneurons and possibly glutamatergic pyramidal cells enhanced cholingergic inputs to thalamus via subcoeruleus nucleus and the pedunculoptontine nucleus in the retictular activating system
Strattera 80 mg Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitor NMDA Antagonist G protein-coupled inwardly rectifying potassium channel (GIRKs) Inhibition partial agonist at k1 opioid receptor (via 4-hydroxyatomoxetine)

Caffeine (via pills) 400 mg Nonselective Adenosine Antagonism modulator of dopamine D1,D2 receptors modulation of post synaptic seritonin bioavailability nonselective phosphodiesterase inhibition raises intracellular cAMP, activates protein kinase A (PKA) inhibits TNF-alpha and leukotriene synthese enhanced modulation of D1+D2 activity via heteronomer formation with d1,d2, and d3 receptors
Nicotine (via e liquid sub and buccal lingual) 18 mg Nonselective Nicotinic Acetylcholine Agonist Positive modulator of GABA A activity in the hippocamopus desensitization of amydala hyperactivity Increased NACc activity via inhibition of Dopaminergic neurons in the Ventral Tegmental Area projecting to Nucleus Accumbens (NACc) + positive modulation of 5-ht1a receptors
Benadryl (diphenhydramine) 200 mg Nonselective Muscarinic Acetylcholine Antagonist Non Selective Histamine antagonist in CNS SERT inhibition (probably insignificant binding affinity) rapid mTOR signaling increasement   enhancement of striatal dopamine targeting drugs by heteromer formation of Muscarinic autoreceptors (mACh 2,3)with d1,2,+3 receptors hypothetical binding to muscarinic receptors in the nucleus Accumbens
Aspirin 325 mg Nonsteroidal Anti-inflamitory Drug (NSAID)
Niacin XR 250 mg G coupled protein binding at Niacin-1 (NIACR1) + Niacin-2 (NIACR2)

Sulbutiamine 1850 mg Blood Brain Barrier (BBB) Bioavailable Thiamine Derivitive altered NREM (increased) and REM (decreased) activity
Green tea extract (std. >/= 50% EGCG) 2500 mg (Gallate mediated) COMT inhibition
Albuterol (orally) 3.75 mg Stimulatory G protein (Gs) activity at downstream effectors adenylate cylase + cAMP-dependant protein kinase A (PKA) Positive Modulation of Kynureic Acid Synthase (KYNA) Beta Adrenic-1+2 Downregulation in CNS regulation of glial activity and homocysteic acid modification of L-arginine uptake
tianeptine ~45 mg AMPA/Kinate Modulator Modulator of Dopamine D2 and D3 signaling Selective Seritonin Reuptake Enhancer (SSRE) alteration of cellular metabolic processes in brain Enhacement of BDNF levels in Hippocampus
Noopeptide ~90 mg Cycloprolylglycine Prodrug/Analog D2 activity Hippocampal Inhibitory Post Synaptic Currents (IPSC) activation Increase in BDNF and NGF decreasing beta almynoid
N-acetyl-L-carnitine 1875 mg enhanced activity in Nucleus Accumbens (NACc) enhanced acetyl-choline synthasis
folic acid 600 mcg
B12 50 mcg
Fish Oil oil 4000 mg (supplying EPA and DHA) Omega 3 fatty acid (OMEGA-3) source enhanced phospholipid cell formation

The most prominent effects are for my major depression. It simply doesn't not exist. It is amazing how my life could be exactly the same yet I can become a cheerful optimistic happy go lucky guy nearly overnight by tweaking chemicals. As soon as the adderall and nuvigil kicks in my narcolepsy is pretty well handled. My ability to focus seems greatly enhanced. I can get so into something hours go by. My sex drive and love for music is greatly enhanced.
