Yeah, not the best. It's ok for modulating prolactin, which can hamper T production in some males but it is a decidedly female herb.

There was study about 11 years ago showing how vitex can increase melatonin in men, so it could be better than taking melatonin for sleep maintenance. It also changes hormone balance towards progesterone, which could have something to do with sleep.
