Anyone here take high dose Vitex? I am female and have a host of symptoms. Horrendous menstrual issues and brain impairment from years of SSRI/benzo withdrawals. It took up to 5000mg of Natures Way Vitex to feel any relief. I have seen on a board where a person went up to 20g of Vitex herb. I have high prolactin, extreme estrogen dominance and most likely low dopamine/Gaba because this dose gave me back some mental clarity. I’m also trying to control heavy bleeding. I have noticed some discomfort in my sides and a bit of thirst with dry skin. Also felt discomfort as it pulled estrogen from certain parts of my body. Those pains have since died down (spinal muscle pain).
