Can someone explain to me exactly what it is about olive oil that makes C60 nontoxic? Can you give another example of a chemical/ingredient that is toxic alone, but when administered in olive oil, it becomes safe? I found this quote on the C60 antiaging site:
"Fullerene toxicity exist, but only occurs when fullerenes lump into nanoparticles or crystallize into larger structures. This happens in watery solutions of fullerenes but has been proven to be impossible with lipofullerenes (C60 in oil). The lipid chains attached to the C60 molecule prevent clumping or crystallization"

Okay, so...that settles it? Olive oil makes it completely safe? I am not familiar with this ability of olive oil to make something that may be toxic nontoxic...can someone please show me some examples of olive oil making something else nontoxic? Is mercury in olive oil nontoxic? How about cadmium? Arsenic in olive oil?
