Adobe software was very expensive once, the Creative Cloud would have been a 2500 USD software package, and each app individually would have cost you no less than 600 USD, but as much as 1200. Then you'd spend half of that again every 18 months on the new version. It's actually a steal the way it is for the professional full timer, but it would be nice to have some part time or limited hours options for everyone else.
