Some years ago I got what appears to be a liver spot, about 0.4*0.4 cm above my eyebrow. Then another one on my chest; same size and form. Then a third one under my eyebrow, same size and form..

I was using L-carnosine (1000 mg daily) for a period, so it could be related to lipofuscin, even though I believe I took 500 mg of ALC alongside all the way.

I have not gotten any new ones for a couple of years (and I have not used L-carnosine either)

Question: Can live sports be REVERSED with ALC or DMAE, or are they "final" skin damage? If they can be reversed, how much ALC and DMAE should one aim for daily?

"live sports"?  In my experience, liver spots they may be minimized but not really reversed back to normal skin with supplements or creams. Maybe laser treatments?

It's said centrophenoxine (similar to DMAE) clears lipofuscin.

I eliminated a large age spot on my left hand by dabbing on a concoction several times/day for a month or so. The age spot eventually rubbed off leaving normal skin underneath. The skin now completely matches with no distinguishing mark.  This was well over a year ago.

Unfortunately, I did not document the mixture thinking I would remember and I'm not sure exactly what was in it other than an oily turmeric and DMSO. There was at least one other herb as well. I cannot find anything in my notes that would suggest what it was or where I got the idea to make this mixture.

It was a pain to avoid staining everything I came into contact with with the turmeric. So for an age spot on my forehead I make up a batch omitting the tumeric. I didn't like having gunk smeared on my forehead and wasn't as diligent at dabbing it on as I had been with the back of my hand. I felt like it was going to fail without the tumeric and gave up early. Now I have decided to be more diligent about dabbing my forehead. But its been so long cannot recall the ingredients other than turmeric and DMSO.

I still have some of the batch without the tumeric left but it is very old. It's a very dark brown color. I tried adding some DMSO and  turmeric to it, but the only turmeric I had on hand was BCM-95 curcumin. It did not mix well--it looks like discrete particles suspended in the concoction. The batch that worked was a smooth golden color,

I will continue experimenting because I know it can work--it did on the back of my hand.

You could also try an MSM lotion like NWC Naturals Ultra Pure Extra-Healing MSM Lotion. There's also applying Lugol's iodide/iodine to the areas (ie, skin peeling).

Those darkened spots are melanin not lipofuscin and are right on the surface of the skin. They can be scratched off easily and the healed skin will be normal colour. I've done this on my hands, arms and even face several times with complete success.
