One study involving mice reveals how glutathione enzymes affect genes that are now found to regulate anxiety. (enzymes not neurotransmitters/chemical imbalances.

Another study involves some neonatal chicks (newborn baby chickens) that were placed in isolation which led to acute stressful conditions.

They were then given glutathione which visibly calmed them and quieted them down. It relaxed them so much that they now displayed sleep-like behavior, in complete contrast to the highly stressful behavior they had been displaying (imagine chicken without a head behavior, no pun-intended).

"In conclusion, glutathione and its derivative have sedative and hypnotic effects, and might be effective in improving psychic stress such as anxiety."

There is great hope for those with anxiety and glutathione is proving to show huge promise in helping those dealing with it.

Low potassium could be the cause of your anxiety (it also causes constipation).

I'm talking about tissue potassium (can be measured with hair mineral test) not serum potassium (this is tightly regulated by the body and it won't be low unless you have Gitelman syndrome) .

Also high cortisol causes low potassium by higher urinary excretion (I think you have high cortisol?).

Role of glucocorticoid in excretion of an acute potassium load in patients with Addison's disease and panhypopituitarism.

Try 2-4 g of potassium citrate over the day. Best would be slow-release tablets, as the liquid potassium powder just flows through the small intestines into the large intestines and is excreted by the kidneys.

i did try  Potassium Gluconate, 595 mg a few days ago. Tried up to like 1g I think. I did feel a little difference but my anxiety was still there.. I dont know why I have anxiety but I know it is causing high levels of CRH.... I have another MRI scan soon the last scan was just a brain scan nothing was there this time I wanna do a stomach/torso mri scan, apparantly there is a tumor very rare that secrets crh, that would be the only plausible explanation for my anxiety.
