Interesting. I wonder how accessible this information will be to the non academic? How many cell types and diseases will get broad coverage by this technology? Will they have the information grouped by age group? Or will the technology only get applied to the very old and not be so useful outside the application of cancer drugs?

I don't think they are into epidemiology, though I don't really know. On the financial pages of a leading newspaper here, it was mentioned in passing that this very recent startup(spin off of Utrecht University) has  already created a wide customer base comprising academic hospitals and research institutes. So I suppose  research and diagnosis is their thing. Also take a look at:
