Vitamin C (2-5gram daily for mood) timing...
MankindRising 22 Dec 2018
So Im aware that Vitamin C can blunt beneficial exercise induced immune system activation and improvement of exercise.
My exercise regimen is day 1 on, day 2 and 3 off, day 4 on, day 5 and 6 off, day 7 on (mildy intensity and focus on bloodflow + breathing), day 8 off, day 9 = repeat
Usually I take my Vitamin C in the morning, but heres the problem: I want to try to make the change again from afternoon exercise to early morning exercise.
Ive noticed that Vitamin C can keep me awake if taken too late in the day, so that wouldnt be an option to say take +8hours after ive exercised in the morning.
Obviously skipping Vitamin C all together on exercise days (something I do often atm) is another option, but I feel as if my mood is suffering by doing that.

Vitamin C is highly energetic to me. Might have to do with my high functioning asd though (low carnitine and oxytocin is both seen in most studies, which vitamin c act as a rate limiting step for synthesis).
I heard about the 2 hour window of no antioxidants before too, do you know of any studies backing this up?

I haven’t really searched. I recall reading something a while ago but then again I also recall reading that vitamin C did not induce any ROS pre-or post workout. So who knows LOL
