Would you say resveratrol has helped you or has the potential to help with anhedonia/social dysfunction?

Specifically in an ADHD/high functioning autism setting.

It seems to do a bunch of things but one of the more striking parts ive found that it works as a DNMT and histone inhibitor and prevents Estrogen beta receptors from degrading so to speak (ERbeta is heavily implicated in social dysfunction/asd as it can control oxytocin receptor expression

Relationships among estrogen receptor, oxytocin and vasopressin gene expression and social interaction in male mice.

"OTR and V1aR mRNAs were highly correlated with estrogen receptor α (ERα) mRNA in the medial amygdala, and OT and AVP mRNAs with estrogen receptor β (ERβ) mRNA in the PVN, indicating that OT and AVP systems are tightly regulated by estrogen receptors. A significant difference in the level of ERα mRNA in the medial amygdala between high and low social interaction mice was also observed. These results support the hypothesis that variations of estrogen receptor levels are associated with differences in social interaction through the OT and AVP systems, by upregulating gene expression for those peptides and their receptors."

Obviously resveratrol is also known to have dopaminergic properties:

Either way what worries me so to speak is that resveratrol in some studies seems to have an anti-thyroid effect, while in others it seems it can help such as in subclinical hypo.

Looks like it can help with anhedonia too:

Acute effects of resveratrol to enhance cocaine-induced dopamine neurotransmission in the striatum.

https://www.ncbi.nlm...pubmed/23499958

"The acute effect of resveratrol on cocaine-induced DARPP-32 phosphorylation was occluded with inhibition of MAO-A and MAO-B. In behavioral studies, resveratrol (40mg/kg, s.c.) enhanced the increase in locomotor activity induced by acute cocaine administration (10mg/kg, i.p.). Thus, this study provides pharmacological evidence that acute resveratrol enhances cocaine-induced dopamine neurotransmission and behavioral responses, presumably via mechanisms involving the inhibition of dopamine catabolism by MAO-A and MAO-B. Resveratrol may be useful to treat dysregulated dopamine neurotransmission, but it may enhance the risk of developing drug addiction."

The protective effects of resveratrol on social stress-induced cytokine release and depressive-like behavior
"Furthermore, only passive coping rats exhibited increased proinflammatory proteins (IL-1β, TNF-α, GM-CSF) in the locus coeruleus (LC), a noradrenergic brain region implicated in depression. Notably, only 30 mg/kg RSV blocked LC neuroinflammation and importantly, was the only dose that blocked anhedonia. Alternatively, while stress had minimal impact on resting cytokines in the dorsal raphe (DR), RSV dose-dependently reduced DR cytokine expression. However, this did not result in changes in indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase activity or serotonin levels."

Anyone with ADHD that uses resveratrol could comment on this?
