Hey,

I just wanted to start a Thread comparing our most recent Lipid profiles and also, what diets we are on leading into the blood tests.

So, i'll start it off. 34 Year old male. I have been doing a combination of in-and-out Ketosis, along with 'some' mild intermittent fasting in the mornings.

I eat mostly sea-food and vegetables, I reduced red meat consumption in the past 5 months between my last Lipid profile and this one.

My CURRENT Lipid profile is:

Component results

Component Your value Standard range
CHOLESTEROL 226 mg/dL
TRIGLYCERIDE 59 mg/dL
HDL 82 mg/dL
LDL CALCULATED 132 mg/dL

In my previous I had 2 points Higher Total Cholesterol, My HDL was 73 and my Trigs were 63. So, That raise in HDL is significant. Even though it was good before. Not to mention the lowering of Trigs!

Another thing I wanted to test was the effect of Citrus Bergamot supplementation on lowering LDL. Well Between my last Lipid Profile and this one, I supplemented Bergamot every day. The results seem pretty clear to me.

Unless I'm jumping the gun. But it does seem significant. A 9 point Jump in HDL is noticeable for sure.
