As many of you might have heard, SES Research is attempting to replicate the Baati experiment which produced dramatic life extension in a very small sample of mice. Brief discussions here.

I have scheduled a podcast with Chris Buress of SES research to discuss this upcoming research effort. It will be recorded on Wednesday February 26th.

Do they plan to fast their rats overnight?

Ask them who is preparing the olive oil. SES or the other company C60EVO.com?

SES has used sonication in the past. Will they be using sonication?

One the web site, they say they prepare the olive oil / c60 extract without oxygen.

My recollection that Baati, prepared his mixture in the presence of oxygen.

I should double check this.

Is C60EVO.com going to provide the C60 EVOO to be used in the study? Will they reproduce the EVOO mixture produced by Baati for his study? SES owns at least part of C60EVO.com, who are the other partners?

Who is doing the research?

How are you handling the potential for bias?

Will there be outside oversight? (or even community oversight - such as with mouse cams).

The study will not be exactly the same as Baati - what are the differences?

Will mice be autopsied after death...checked for cancer?

Thanks for the interview ! He mentionned that they don't use sonication (they did once though). Did the interview alleviate some of your concerns ?

I am not an expert on C60 in oil and I don't use it as a supplement, but perhaps some of the other LongeCity crowd could chime in.

As much as I like all of what MyVItalC is about, I have to deduct one star because of my underwhelming subjective experience and the fact that the MyVitalC products hit you in the wallet, hard. Also, based on my own experience, I wouldn't recommend C60 to everyone, when I talk to younger, otherwise healthy people I recommend Adaptogenic herbs or classic Nootropics, things that give you a noticeable edge. C60 I'd recommend to people with health issues, older people facing declining health, or people who just have a lot of money to throw around trying cool supplements - if I was a billionaire I'd bathe in ESS60-infused olive oil daily!
