This isn't strictly regarding C60 Oil, but it is regarding C60 supplementation so I think this is the right forum for it.

I keep hearing how C60 is naturally present in molasses, but never at what concentrations. I do recall hearing that it might be cheaper to extract C60 from molasses than graphene due to their relative pricing, which suggests that C60 is present in non-trace concentrations. So, does anyone know what the concentration of C60 would be in molasses?

It seems like it would work better as a carrier as well, since molasses are pitch black and don't allow light to penetrate, which should lay to rest the concerns about UV, light exposure and storage issues in normal C60 oils.

I've not seen the original source of the molasses claim, but one can expect to find a few molecules of C60 in many products at vanishingly small levels. To get a normal dose (around 3 mg), you would likely need several tons. A more concentrated source is Shungite, which was deposited back before there was much oxygen in the atmosphere. This mineral is 98% carbon, and contains as much as 0.001% mixed fullerenes, but is not bioavailable in the solid form. None of these natural sources are recommended in any case, as they contain substantial amounts of C70, which can be toxic. To get pure C60 requires expensive processing.

Makes sense. I'm not able to find a source for the molasses thing either aside from several blogs that appear to be quoting each other.
