Some questions I have so far:

1. Cycling, is it better to cycle the consumption of sulforaphane, for example, 4 days per week, etc.

2. How important is dosage, what happens if too much is taken?

3. Is it better to take high doses in a cycling fashion, or lower doses in a consistent fashion? For example, if you have a 1 month supply, is it better to consume it as high doses for 10/30 days or as lower everyday doses?

4. Can you expand on what the research says regarding acute effects and longterm effects?

5. Is it better to take it at night or in the morning, is there a hypothetical benefit for targeting the dose at a certain time?

6. Exercise timing, before, after, or it doesn't matter?

I think Mind tried to ask objective questions and it is a credit to Dr. Houghton that she was careful to resist overly positive language and unsubstantiated claims.

Obviously, there was no sponsorship of  LongeCity involved by any manufacturer and no specific brands were mentioned.

Still, I'm a bit uncomfortable with this episode. It reminds me too much of "supplement endorsement" shows prevalent on US airwaves that try hard to come across in an apparently 'scientific' format.

What do listeners think? Should be have more of these shows where sellers and their spokespeople get to talk about their products but make sure they are critically evaluated?

Or should we stay away from such themes given that there is ample material out there already?

(NB it is illegal in the US to make unsubstantiated claims regarding potential efficacy against cancer)
