So I started looking at all my food labels and am doing the Ray Kurzweil thing now, except with food. I was already eating the same thing every day anyway, now I am/have molded my food plan as good as I can (it's hard, but it's much better!). I calculated all the things I need like calcium, iron, etc - I made a big table and totaled them all, it's pretty cool and fun. I know one needs variety and such but I can actually do that with the foods in that single day, a bit of each. I'm 26 BTW.

I went to 1% milk, but now I can't get all my omega 3 DHA and EPA without fish or supplements. Walnuts help but it doesn't convert much the ALA into DHA and EPA. I'm still under the minimum probably. I hate salmon also, smells ultra bad and tastes bad, remarkable to be honest. I couldn't do even an inch of it. I got a good supplement but am I going to life forever on it folks? Is it going to give me the real omega 3 DHA and EPA. Does Ray Kurzweil use it?

Why do you care?

Honestly, RK has not shown any longevity or even healthspan related personal advancements. He is 74yo and IMHO looks it.

He is 57 in this picture, I have friends older that look younger.

I recommend, for the purposes of getting the health benefits of DHA and EPA, to go with Algae oil-based. If you don't like salmon and other fish, EPA and DHA derived from Algae is a good choice. Way better sustainability wise too.

Capsules are easy to find, and there are a couple brands that offer the oil simply as pure liquid, too, which is what I like.
