Apparently you are no longer required to fast for a cholesterol test anymore? The one I just had said fasting not required.

Does anybody know anything about this?

I dont have a full answer. I do weekly blood tests and sometimes send a sample taken from the same needle to two different lans. I had results last week which were materially different for LDL. Dont know why. Personally i would think fasting gives a more useful result.
