Thank you Michael, interesting as habit with your posts!
I guess the eGFR is based on the creatinine 2021 formula right? There were changes last year. You might also consider in future cystatin-c and cystatin-c/creatinine estimators:

I guess this does not change the content pf your post.

Thanks albedo. Cystatin C has merit as a biomarker of kidney function, as creatinine-derived eGFR can suffer from muscle-mass losses during aging (creatinine is proportional to muscle mass).

Absolutely!
In my case, while I succeed to keep the creatinine trending down (eGFR-creatine going up), the cystatin-c is trending up (eGFR-cystatin-c trending down) with age.
These are what they are: estimations and I guess a real creatinine clearance test should maybe be done.
When I combine all eGFR estimators I know about (7 different formulas) there is a trend of the average eGFR upward which is good.

Without the creatinine clearance measurement, when kidney function declines, BUN and uric acid increase, as they're cleared less from the blood. To account for that, I also track those biomarkers.

While over 20 years my creatinine has been trending down, over the recent 3-4 years or so there is a clear tendency upward which is not good. Have you find anything new one can do to reverse this trend? Which is the best intervention or set of interventions one can consider? Wrt Michael's last post my past uric acid and BUN are pretty stable.
Any update to your table which I use a bit as a memory guide to keep those nutrients correlated with creatinine in the right way (eg I top a little my omega 3 which were not as I wished). I am a bit surprised by the zinc negative correlation, i use it mostly in winter time with Vit D.
