Thank you Michael, insightful as usual with your posts :-)

A couple of comments not in order:

  • I cycle from time to time with NAC and when I do I use Glycine, see GlyNAC evidence ...
  • Be careful in measuring homocysteine after strenuous exercise: there is evidence of induced increase, e.g. see Deminice R, Ribeiro DF, Frajacomo FTT. The effects of acute exercise and exercise training on plasma homocysteine: a meta-analysis. Bearden SE, ed. PLoS ONE. 2016;11(3):e0151653, https://journals.plo...al.pone.0151653
  • I am tracking homocysteine since many years and somehow succeed to keep it in check, not as I wished (say ~7) but trending down over 16 years, from ~14 to ~11  now at 67 yo. NR (form of B3), supplementation with other vitamins of the  B group and possibly Glycine might have been useful but cannot prove it.

Thanks for the tips albedo!

Thanks for making your results public Michael. It is a great service to the community of biohackers.
