I take a curcumin supplement and was thinking of taking a nattokinase one too, but I don't know if it would be safe to take both, seeing as they are both blood-thinners.

What do you think?

What dangers of blood-thinning are you worried about?

Just any potential general negative sides to it. I don't have any blood disorders or clotting problems, but have heard that too many blood thinning supplements are not a good idea in general. But apart from the obvious dangers of causing a wound to bleed out too long, I have yet to find anything else against taking more than one blood thinning supplement. Most vegetables are blood thinners, yet we are never warned about mixing more than one of them in our diet.

I don't think you will have any trouble with that. I take natto plus curcumin daily along with asprin and a bunch of other things. What you might want to keep an eye on is if cuts seem to take much longer to stop bleeding than usual or if you start bruising easily. That could be a sign of too many thinners. OTOH, thin blood is more resistant to obstructive blood clots that could cause a stroke or heart attack, so its a balance between too thick and too thin, from what I've heard on the subject.

Thanks, if you haven't had any problems with the range of blood-thinners you take, then maybe the risks have been exaggerated.
