Vitamin D alone is not the only health benefit that we can get from sun exposure. I’ve done some research on different studies regarding this and found out that:

  • Cardiovascular and non–cancer-related deaths reduce all-cause mortality by 38% with sun high exposure.

  • Sun-related skin damage reduce skin cancer mortality risk by 60% likely due to protective mechanisms from regular exposure.

  • Studies show a 50% decrease in COVID-related inflammation and benefits for arthritis and wound healing with red and infrared light.

I believe that the health benefits of sun exposure extend far beyond just Vitamin D, as the significant reductions in mortality rates and the protective effects against various diseases highlight the importance of responsible sun exposure for overall well-being.
