That's great that the ITP tested this. With no impact on medium lifespan in both male/female mice, and just a minor increase in maximal lifespan for female mice, the results seem rather unimpressive to me. Especially given that these sorts of interventions usually work better in mice than humans.

Yep, I agree 100%

However, I can testify that MB works for me as well as for my wife as a nootropic.

it kills libido and probably microflora too but it can be handy recreationally against bad mood when you are on the verge of sacrificing libido for the sake of some pleasant euphory.

Has anybody else had these effects? I've briefly taken methylene blue in the past (maybe for about three months) many many years ago, and I did not feel that it lowered my libido. That was when I was much younger and a very very horny individual.

it's used to cure priapism (prolonged dangerous erection) officially and it's not a secret about mb. Indeed when young and without abuse you may not feel adverse effects but like most seratonergic ads it causes libido loss. I think this spoilure of libido can become permanent if you take it for a long period. Otherwise you won't totally lose it but you may expect some unpleasant consequences with sex organs... I would better take something like ghb or phenibut which are totally harmless for libido but still have euphoric effect. Or selegiline, cocaine and other dophaminergic staff. Unfortunately in my country all this is prohibited. So i now take only niacin. All nootropics even piracetam are fake in my country as the new paradigm is senseless biorobots.

Haha. no!  We don't have low libido. The opposite effect, if any.

It might be a matter of dosage. At larger doses MB acts as an antibioticum so that might influence well being in  general and therefore libido.

It caused mild gynecomastia for me. Thanks gods it has vanished. But no further desire to experiment with it. It can't increase libido as like any seratogenic stuff it causes the opposite. Better snuff dianobol like that guy in the corresponding topic. The impact of dbol is enormous, much more enormous than that from seratonin. In Russia dbol is regarded as heroin with similar years of prison. It's because the new world order system needs gays and low libido men to cut down population and create cowards since testosteron boosts energy, mood and desire to resist besides more libido. Some say that anabolic steroids shrink eggs and stop production of own testosterone. Such info is absent in soviet medical books. They only mention increase of masculine traits. Dorian Yates claimed that danger of steroids is overbloated. It can be true. What about dht?

But don't reject mb alltogether. It really helps as nootropic and ad for old people spending most time in bed. Kind of alleviates encephalopathia. Under current circumstances of fake nootropics in my country mb is a must have thing. Cheap and easily accessable.

Damn, i have very bad news, namely russian mb has been made fake. I bought new bottle of the brand that i had always bought and after trying it today I can only regretfully state that it no longer produces any psychodelic or activating effect. It just does nothing, no change in perception, mood, mental craity, just nothing... It seems they now produce inactive isomer which probably kills bacteria in aquariums but is useless as antidepressant... Alas!

i contacted one shop at ozon.ru and they refused to tell me if their mb powder is not fake grounding it that they do not have license to sell medical.stuff. So as far as i understand all mb in russia is now fake. Like all genetically modified coffee has no caffeine. All psychostimulating substances have been eliminated in russia. Definitely they plan to cut down population.
