I compared 50+ biomarkers across three very different approaches to longevity:

  • Siim Land (29): Younger and heavy training
  • Me, Crissman (53): Minimal interventions
  • Bryan Johnson (47): $2M yearly spend and over 100 supplements

Each of these paths has strengths, but the comparison shows how far the fundamentals alone can take you.

Youth carried the day, but my minimalist approach had overall better biomarkers than Bryan Johnson, despite being six years older.

I speculatively wonder that with AGI coming soon, maybe in the next 10-20 years as we start getting more radical life extending longevity therapies, Bryan Johnson and others that have the $$ means to afford them, will be much closer than the rest of us to achieve radical life extension. Right now there aren't really any good therapies that strongly extend lifespan. I believe this will change in the next 10-20 years, but obviously only the wealthier will have access initially. Should take another 10-20 years or more for the general population in developed countries (don't even mind the rest of the world) to start having access to them.
