In the latest phase of the Unaging Challenge, early adopters have been tracking their diet. And nope, not the usual calorie counting. But by hours gained…or lost.

These categories have earned the participants additional hours:

  • Unsaturated Fats: +261 hours, or eleven days.
  • Whole grains: +126 hours, or around five extra days.
  • Legumes and beans: +94 hours, or 4 days of added life.
  • Fish: +56 hours, another 2 days.

Meanwhile, these two foods showed the opposite effects.

  • Red meat: -42.9 hours
  • Sugar: - 4 hrs

Check out how you could also track your longevity hours from your favorite food groups.
