Alex Chiu -- 'immortality device' = fake

I've actually been harmed by Alex Chiu's neodymium rings. I got them fre as promised for advertising, but they were really strong magnets and I held them too close together and they pinched my pinky for a second before I pried them apart, lol.

What do you all think, I was curious so I thought this would be the best place to start.

Regarding the first link, I like the way it says that you would have to spin the ring continuously in order to achieve eternal life.
"And since the delay is an aggregation of each 360º revolution, they result in an additional 1.147 seconds of existence. Theoretically, one could delay their death indefinitely by completing back to back rotations at 1.147 second intervals, thereby making them, immortal."
Just brilliant.

Immortality will come, but your body has to die off first...
What do you mean?

I mean that we all have a soul that lives after death.
...after the death of our physical body.
Doubtful.

I mean that we all have a soul that lives after death.
Have you died and returned to know that for sure?

I am tempted to buy the magnetic rings and as a joke wear them to a transhumanist/cryonicist conference. I wonder how many people would recognize the bling? LOL And if we had a meal out by the pool I might even wear the toe rings...
Speaking of jewelry, does the ImmInst offer any rings or necklaces for sale? I'd like to see that.
As for the posts about belief in an afterlife, I have enjoyed the NDE books by Melvin Morse and others. I realize many scientists feel the NDE experience is simply the comforting last gasp of a dying & hallucinating brain, but even they will only know for sure (or know nothing but oblivion) when they die. And considering that cryonics, biotech life extension advances, calorie restriction and the Singularity may not work (at least in our lifetime), I hope there is more than simply this existance.

I'm amazed that anyone can fall for this, as Alex has(questionably) kept a continuous log of his VERY visible aging over the past decade since this thread was made. Simply Google "How gorgeous Alex Chiu is at age 38"(a seven year old video) where you see that Chiu looks every bit his age(despite being Chinese), he's balding, has wrinkles, and even has the mouth dent thing.
I may even like his "How good I look at age 38 because I used Immortality Rings and Gorgeouspil" video even more, as he rolls up his shirt sleeves and poses what appear to be 12.5" biceps, lol.
His updated "science" is fun too. "You see this animal move its arm to eat? Animals are really just living magnets. Its arms have negatively charged cells. Food is positively charged." He's truly employing next gen science.
I decided to bump this, because he's started marketing this crap again. I've seen it mentioned three times in the last month, and his long dormant youtube account is active again. This thread is high on the Google search results for his rings, but it will be higher with more recent activity.
