A few points from the writeup:

  • Most joint pain is too much load too fast, or too little from disuse.
  • Overdid it? Cut the load, but keep the habit — don't quit the slot.
  • Lingering pain is usually lost joint function, not structural damage.
  • The diagnosis — herniated disc, torn cuff — often isn't the cause; many with the same scan have no pain.
  • The fix is restoring function: simple, specific exercise, not rest.
