Thats where sponsorship comes in. I was watching a few snippets of the TED seminars, which seem to be sponsored by BMW.
This is the fun part, marrying sympathetic corporates to strands of Extropian science. Gaining their patronage in the same way sport or music events do.
Though of course we should make sure the corporations we choose are also reputable, and not likely to detract from the science.
Microsoft part sponsored a large seminar on how SME's could also profit from the current climate in Iraq. Hardly good PR I would have thought. And I just cant believe that Bill Gates is not of the type , - hell bent on living forever....
If someone here does manage to snag Microsoft, as a sponsor of events, I would imagine things would pretty much snowball from there.
