On another note, I can't count 6-OXO Extreme (Ergopharm's product) as it also contains 6-OXO and a couple other things in it, thus boosting the price. GiantNutrition is the company though, and I will look into shipping prices as well.

I went through the excel sheet.
I would like to get one thing clarified. Does the product R300-150 contain only trans-resveratrol or is there any cis form present ?
If yes how the excel sheet states the total and trans-resveratrol form is 45gm.
If no, I think its great that you were able to isolate trans and cis form seperately from 50% PC extract. Something very fishy here ?????

$10.13 - $14.50 = -4.37
In other words, taking into account S&H (and in the case of Bio, it's free), the overall savings for 2g a day over a 2.5 month period is $4.37 in favor of Biotivia.
People can factor in the extra bottle for themselves...that's a hefty addition in this comparison.
As for GiantNutrition, all orders over $65 at that site are free. Now, the difference is the Quercatin/Piperine amounts...let's see here.
One bottle of Giant's Resveratrol Plus has:
30x250 = 7500mg = 7.5g of Quercetin
30x2.5 = 75mg of Piperine
Multiply that by 20 (the amount of bottles) and get: 150g of Quercetin and 1.5g of Piperine
Now, we must look at Quercetin and Piperine supplements to see if the price edge still goes to Biotivia when including the prices of these supps.
PIPERINE
Patented as Bioperine, only supplement available to my knowledge within America.
http://www.vitaminsh....jsp?id=SR-5510
This might not even be the best price, but for $7.18 + probably 5 dollars shipping (didn't look into it), you can get 120 tabs at 10mg per, or 1.2g of Piperine. Another bottle will put you at $14.36 for a total of 2.4g. With shipping, let's say 20 bucks.
QUERCETIN
There's about 41 results on Vitamin Shoppe, so I just did a cursory look. Vitamin's own brand is priced at 12 bucks, at 50g per bottle. So, three bottles will cost you 36 bucks.
http://www.vitaminsh....jsp?id=VS-1267
Since both products can be purchased off of the same site, your total will be roughly $56. With GiantNutrition, you pay $90 extra for the Quercatin and Piperine. With buying the supplements individually, you get more Piperine, the same amount of Quercatin, and pay $34 less. You also get the extra bottle of Resveratrol and free S&H.
Biotivia beats out Giant.

Having said that, our current customers who have accepted our recent offer simply don't pay for shipping at all... and as posted before, we will be doing something regarding shipping in September for new customers.
Please feel free to read through older posts, it may be the answers to your questions are already posted. Again, shipping is something no one really brings up, but it's a cost for folks that can only find things on the internet. Well... at least until your local retailers start carrying the products.
Shipping is a tough one to add to the sheet and much harder to keep up with, as some sites are pretty dynamic at adding it depending on where you live. Others have a flat rate though... but I believe that is one field that may prove to be difficult to add.
thanks

One more thing to add, Giant Nutrition offers free shipping on orders over $65. I will edit the prior post to incorporate this.
On the other hand, I have a good idea for the spreadsheet -- make a Shipping/Handling column that is characterized by a Y or N for 'Yes' or 'No.'

If powder has been tested for 50% trans- resveratrol than how come you have claimed the total resveratrol content and total trans-resveratrol content as 45 gm in your excel sheet (for the product R300-150)
Please enlighten the forum

I posted in my analysis on page 12:
"RevGenetics R300 - 150 caps at 300mg trans-rev per cap, priced at $84.25 and 45000mg of trans-rev (45g) per bottle."
Note the 45g. Go to P12 and read that post.

We have asked our suppliers to provide us with a minimum of 50% trans-resveratrol, which they do, and it is tested for t-res at a 50% minimum. Some Cis-resveratrol is in our product as well, and we simply don't add it to our product literature. I am not interested in it, I believe it's not important when it comes to selling a product, and has been seen to provide little benefit to the user.
Lets make a further comparison regarding literature and marketing...
Lets ask the following question: "How many folks that sell resvertrol publish the amount of emodin on their labels?"
Answer?: Not many, and I have looked to see if it was another item we could add to the price list. Well that info is not available for most products in their literature and many don't have their cis content as well.
At this time I have provided info to the new guests here including Bionutra regarding our 50% products. But this is not a forum thread for RevGenetics products... it is about resveratrol pricing. Unless you have a question on pricing, I will not answer anymore in this thread. Simply create a new thread for your question.
Brainbox and Mind have mentioned we should keep this on pricing and I will abide by that, so I expect you to do so as well.
thanks
Anthony

I would be happy to end this nonsense once and for all by simply submitting our respective products to a truly independent expert for a comparative analysis. We are happy to finance 50% of the costs involved so long as it were done in a professional and thorough manner using samples purchased anonymously.

Second... a quick rebuttal since James mentions we don't ...
have child proof caps (although he states in his label that rsv is ok for persons 10 years or older) here are some pics from a bottles I pulled from storage this morning, as you can see these are childproof:
James says he has issues with our labels, again... more pics you can compare:
He then stated we use hard gel caps, again here is our order for Vcaps. His expert should have picked up on this, but apparently did not:
RevGenetics Vegetarian VCaps
James, the tactics used in this forum are ridiculous, and I believe you have been told about the commercial aspect regarding advertising or pushing your products. Please talk to the forum Admins regarding these rules.
The request for the submitting our products to a third party actually sounds of desperation to me after the hijinks that has happened in this forum. Why would I lend you credibility from my part by agreeing to this, when our powder is being used in university research? You shot yourself in the foot with the silliness that has transpired, don't expect me to be kind enough to lift you off the floor.

James has lost any future sales to me though due to his posting tatics here and on the LEF forum (LEF: High Dose Resveratrol Products).
And looking at these posts of his, he doesn't even seem to know if it was his "Dr. Saurabh Shah" or "Dr. Lee" that "...removed the contents of 10 capsules". I seriously doubt he got the brand that was examined correct either.

Remember that this is a "price watch" forum. Please keep your other questions/comments to various suppliers private (email/pm) or we will have to remove them.
I did move the price discussion back to this original topic.
I surely hope you do run your companies with more care and accuracy than the way you post into this forum.....
Anthony, you are right about the off-topic nature of some posts, but if you can't handle the heat don't start a fire. If you start a thread like this you should know that criticism is unavoidable.First of all, Mind... can you move this to another thread? It appears James wants to continue to post here regardless of any notices.

You R300-150 product contains 50% trans-resveratrol (as mentioned by you earlier).
The price per gm mentioned on Excel sheet is doubtful.!!
Anthony please forward the special technology to separate trans-resveratrol from cis-resveratrol which you or your supplier might be using.I think 50% does'nt mean anything scientifically for you.
I have a request Anthony Please do not relate me and Biotivia in any ways. I hav'nt linked myself to any of the firms nor do I support your tactics.
As a consumer, where you quote you are the lowest per gm. Can you please let your R300-150 third party COA on your website. I think anyone who buys the product directly from your site, need not everytime mail you personally for the COA.Please don't refrain from having COA public, if you are so sure of the product.
Brainbox , please mind that I'm posting this in relation to pricing. I think as Anthony has started the thread and maintains the Excel sheet.
I think thread was started to enlighten ourselves regarding resveratrol price.
If you guys are not willing to clarify the issues, Please I request moderators to stop the thread.!!!!

Anthony,
Why is the size column darkened in the COA. I dont think one should tamper with the COA.
I hope the size of the capsule is for human consumption and not for Vet.

Please explain your situation, I think to have gone under personality search or investigation !!! I requested Anthony regarding the price listing. Why you guys indulge in different topics which are no way related to the thread.
Previuosly Brainbox you were the one to state "I tried to get the thread on track" and what are you doing now?
I previously declared, Please don't relate me and Biotivia in anyways !!!!
I think Brainbox, you even don't understand simple plain english.
I don't link you or any other members to any other person,
I have never related you and RevGenetics or I should and I request the same from forum... I think this should be my last request or otherwise I need to write to Forum Moderator.....
Brainbox please stop your personality investigation and lets indulge in some constructive discussion.....I know, it was harsh on my part, but enough is enough.
As a consumer and dealer, I wanted to probe RevGenetics and hence requested Anthony to provide me price clarification ?If this is what RevGenetics approach towards its costumers, I think I need to add to google regarding the customer service provided by RevGenetics.
After getting the details from RevGenetics, I was supposed to order a bulk of approximately 500 Kg of pure 99% resveratrol for my client overseas, but know I think otherwise.....I think this is not the place to waste my time.
Thanks

bionutra you said 500 kilos? Well, I don't think you are serious at all because of the previous posts, but it is a pricing question!
So... pricing for 500 kilos is $550 a kilo for 99%... now if you prefer 1000 kilos, I can drop the price down to $409 a kilo. [sfty]
Considering it's such a large amount, I won't put it on the excel sheet as most consumers want smaller portions, and pricing fluctuates a bit for such large orders. [tung]
Have a nice day bionutra

I think you need to take some things seriously..
Thanks for the price quote! The order would be over the period of 6 months.
Can you forward me the COA for 99% resveratrol as well as COA for one of your finished product R300-150.

the prices quoted are for a single bulk order (all 500kg or 1000kg) ordered and paid for at one time. Sorry...
[thumb]
So if you need less than what was quoted on a month to month basis, just email us privately as it sounds complicated and the pricing will change depending on what the order actually is in the end... that's just how wholesale pricing works.
(BTW: for folks looking at this seemingly cooky exchange between bionutra and myself... these are in fact actual quotes. We have been looking at the market, and pricing is slow to come down for the average wholesale order... but the good news is that it is coming down! We hope to see more of the same as more folks understand how remarkable this molecule is to researchers. We have also been contacted recently by what appears to be an american company interested in growing knotweed and producing rsv here at home. We think there is a definite need for this to happen, and we hope this company succeeds in it's efforts.)

I am actually surprised this hasn't happened already. Knotweed is...just that. A weed. And it grows like wildfire, if I am not mistaken and is already in the U.S. In fact, I think some states are trying to get rid of it, it is such a general nuisance to the environment. I'd imagine it'd be easy as pie to grow the stuff--harvesting resveratrol from it might be trickier, but I don't know much about the process.

Here in the Southeast we see more Kudzu, but I have heard people curse Japanese knotweed/Mexican Bamboo for being just as invasive elsewhere.
