I have a prescription for omacor and never have a bad aftertaste from it like the ones I bought in stores...it is also claimed to be the most potent of all the fish oils...
http://www.omacorrx.com/...It is also like $240 per bottle but with my insurance it costs $6.44 cents for a bottle of 120 caps and each cap contains 1 gram omega-3 in it...

Thanks for the recommendations.

I've used Carlson's and the Generic Vitamin Shoppe Liquid Fish Oil in the past and had good results...Of course i'm looking for optimal results with the most minimal cost

Any opinions on a high quality reasonably priced brand of fish oil?

I just ordered me a bottle of Nowegian salmon oil from iherb. Good ratio and dose of DHA/EPA and its $13 for 230 capsules!

I burped for the first 2 weeks - Then it just went away

When I take a long lay-off from supplementation it takes a week or 2 before the lemony fish oil burps go away.

Anyone try the Orange flavor?

have you guys looked at fish oil offered by trueprotein:

180mg EPA and 120mg DHA per gram and 1000 capsules.

https://www.trueprot...cid=24&pid=6821

sounds like a very good offer. I was thinking of getting those.

It's not distilled. Look for something with 60% omega 3 like LEF's product.

well I got more information regarding the product. this was their reply:

''our new fish oil, is manufactured by ONC (Ocean Nutrition Canada), the Meg 3 brand

from ONC:

MEG-3® is a naturally sourced, safe, and pure product. Impurities from fish oils (contaminants such as PCBs and mercury) are removed before the fish oil is concentrated. MEG-3® is the safest source of Omega-3 available, so you know you can Trust The Source®.''

It is also of pharmaceutical grade.
