Thanks Missminni,

I found the hospital he is staying in. They shut off the phones at 9pm, so I just missed being able to call him.
I will try him tomorrow to see how he is doing.

My understanding is that you can't call with the switchboards and get the number put through after 9. I think if you have the number to the room, they can't block you calls and you can get through anytime

I just tried that number again and it rang 20 times...no answer. They probably don't let calls come through at night.

I am worried.

Check the patient lounge out, 207-662-3743, I spend more time here than at the room.

Could also call the Gibson pavillion and ask for Bill O'Rights. I'm one of the more well known patients.

Carol is now in possession of the cell phone so that she can call after 7pm and get updates.

I think David talked with Carol, he or Mike will be trying to call--I've gotten all the numbers and the info on the Gibson pavillion to them :)

I just got off the phone with Bill (TheFirstImmortal) at the hospital...

TheFirstImmortals prognosis is very bad, hospice for pain management is now a hard decision that will be done soon. He has mentioned that he wanted folks to please consider a donation for Cryonics now before things spiral down quickly. He has survived way past his doctor's estimate of life, but the cancer and other complications are taking a toll and his doctor is telling him to get on hospice care almost daily now. Personally, I have worked at Vitas Hospice and I have to say that as soon as folks get on Hospice care, things usually spiral down quickly for a patient. I understand his reluctance regarding this type of care because of what I have seen. But it appears he maybe making the decision soon.

So I need to consider a donation to his cryonics fund now. Bill's Cryonics paypal account that elrond setup for this is:

orights.cancer.cryonics.fund@gmail.com

I found the paypal donation email from this information link below that has updates on the cryonics aspect.
http://www.imminst.o...o...d=280342

If you haven't donated yet, please consider donating at least a few dollars or more with me today.

thank you
Anthony Loera

I agree with his reluctance 100%! Hospice is when you are ready to die, and Bill is ready to live...He needs to find a forward thinking doctor to work with. These guys are not even willing to try any other therapies. You'd think they would at least be curious and want to try something new. Hell, you got nothing to lose. Furthermore, where there's life, there's hope....so why go into hopeless hospice.

Isn't there some way to find an experimental oncologist who would welcome the challenge and the chance to really fight cancer with a true warrior?
If I were a doctor I'd jump at the chance. You couldn't have a better partner in the fight than Bill.

What are you planing to do? CI? TFI mentioned something about 35k, that's a damn lot. It seems they do not offer an option for "neuro" (i.e. head only), which would have been perfect IMHO. Cheaper and better preservation of the head as far as I know.
Can't you get some sort of credit or borrow money from someone? Re-negotiate a cheaper contract? I guess the latter is impossible, but what about the former?
My humble donation (~100) should arrive soon I hope.

What palliative care will tfi receive? Radiation only? Not even low dose chemo? I guess even low dose chemo is dangerous at this stage. Still I believe he needs to get some radical treatment done to extend his life span until the money's there, no? DCA, IV vit c, still no doctor that could possibly do it?

Hi TFI,

I am glad you have made it to the new year. Seems like your doctor was completely wrong about many things, including the date of your departure (Wasn't it November 1st his estimate for you?)

You currently have [$1554.34] available at this time, please let me know if you need anything, and I will order it for you.

I did call Hospice today, they have a living well program that helps people in their own homes. They do light housekeeping, run erronds, things like that. I'm going to try that out because Carol can no longer use her left arm, so she isn't doing well. She plans on holding her surgery off till spring.

That's a great idea. Might even pan out to assistance w/IV"s, you never know. Can they give you chemo at home?

Sorry to hear about Carol. what kind of operation?

Yes, I have paperwork signed for CI.

TFI mentioned something about 35k, that's a damn lot.

For a chance at life again in the future, I think it is a good price.

Can't you get some sort of credit or borrow money from someone?

Credit? LOL, I'm terminal with a real short prognosis. As for for borrowing money, when you borrow money there is an expectation that someone is getting paid back. I can't make that claim, so I would never take money under the false pretense that it was some sort of loan that I could pay back.

Re-negotiate a cheaper contract?

CI doesn't do that, they are firm about that and I'm glad. There fiscal policies are tight but that's why they should be around for a long time.

My humble donation (~100) should arrive soon I hope.

Thank You Kismet.

Pallitive care, low dose chemo right now. And I agree with you, I do need some radical treatment to extend the living time. Working on it.

I don't want to get into her medical problem in detail, that isn't something I should make public without her consent. I'm pretty free obviously with my medical details but I can't post her issue for the world to see.

Hi Anthony,
I have another order for you, some hardware this time. I need a delivery system for my lungs, so I would like to get a Vicks Personal Steam Inhaler and a Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer. I have the links below.
http://www.americarx...ducts/1993.html

http://www.drugstore...ed-e04507ceadbf
One is $14.16 and the other is $29.99, plus whatever shipping cost. No rush on the shipping because I have not figured out what company to use for the medication. That should be the next order.
Thank You Anthony.

Anthony, I am curious. Was the first immortal using Resveratrol products from your company prior to this? Have you suggested astral fruit to him and do you think it would be any benefit as a chromosomal protection? We have already ruled out the possibility of astragalus IV causing cancer telomerase replication right? Sorry if this is a dumb question, just grasping at straws I suppose.

No resveratrol for his condition has come from us, we are here only to lend support by providing part of your order for his benefit when using the "Immortal" code on our website.

Have you suggested astral fruit to him and do you think it would be any benefit as a chromosomal protection?

Telomere length is the least of his issues, he is battling cancer and requires other things for this battle. I will be providing him something in the near future for nutritional purposes only, but it will not be Astral Fruit.

We have already ruled out the possibility of astragalus IV causing cancer telomerase replication right? Sorry if this is a dumb question, just grasping at straws I suppose.

Telomerase is not an oncogene, he will likely have more of a chance getting more cancer from taking Saccharin in the pink pouches found in most restaurants, than from astragaloside iv.

Cheers

Hi Anthony,
I have another order for you. I don't have a lot of information on the company, Iposted what little I have below. We don't want the skin cream, we need the 10 grams of pure Methyl jasmonate for the vicks inhaler. Let me know if you have problems placing this order.

Methyl jasmonate is used by Grouppe Kurosawa for our skin cream SkinAlive®. We will sell 10 grams to others in the US for $180 including priority mail shipping. The total cost is $200 for shipping to Europe. Shipping costs vary for other parts of the world.

Payment is made by PayPal to smartin@grouppekurosawa.net.
