I just reread the whole post an noticed you take aloe vera juice, this can be very high in nickel, I would also avoid any "green" powders, green plant supplements and liquorice. The fact that you reacted to a tomatoe plant, that the allergy test showed nickel, that the eczema is on your hands and that your eczema went away by the sea could be other clues that it is nickel you are reacting too. I hope this helps.

For two and half years my life has been hijacked by psoriasis. I've had some success adjusting to a diet that is very hard to stay on - gluten and yeast free, dairy free, sugar free, no nightshades and no alcohol - basically you can't eat anything but fruits and vegetables and some fish or poultry. At it's best, I still had psoriasis on my hands.

After eating chocolate and ice cream a few weeks ago, I had a major flare covering 70% of my body with my face swollen beyond recognition. My dermatologist, who gasped when he saw me, put me on cyclosporin, a drug used for transplant patients.
It worked literally overnight. My plan is to stay on it for 6 months, allowing my skin to revitalize, and then to come off it and continue with the restrictive diet, which I am presently following and will probably have to follow the rest of my life.

The good thing about cyclosporin is that you can stop anytime. There is no weaning necessary as with steroids. There are risks involved so monthly blood tests are mandatory but I'm on the lowest does necessary. It's a godsend. Wish I had taken it sooner.
I highly recommend it to anyone suffering with this awful condition.

The classic Chinese herbal formula, Yi Gan San,
same as the Japanese Yokukan-san.

" YKS inhibited the development of AD-like skin lesions
in socially isolated NC/Nga mice by suppressing
scratching and infiltration of inflammatory cells in the skin. "

Uncaria rhynchophylla, synonymous with
Uncaria sinensis (fish hook vine, Chinese Cat's
Claw, Gou Teng, 鉤 藤) is one of the key herbs in
the above formula.
