Using those three pictures as a yard stick (really two pics since one is blurry), I'd say she looks 40 to me. Which is very good, but it isn't 30 as the headline claims. And it is kind of a fuzzy yeardstick, since those are obviously posed studio pictures, and presumbably she is wearing makeup and the pics where cherry picked. And she wrote the article herself, so no third party verification of anything. What do you think of this

I'd wait to see her in real for any definite judgement
She looks 46 to me in this pic. The only non studio pic I could find of her. I have no idea when this was taken.

She looks great for 63 in that video, I would say she looks 50. Carole Maggio is particularly impressive because she was not esspecially attractive when younger, I think she is more attractive now. But I don't believe her claims about not having any cosmetic procedures. I would believe that she has not had a full face lift. My guess is that she has had the following: fillers (especially lips and cheeks), botox, a lip lift, a neck lift, multiple skin resurfacing treatments. fwiw, I have read that she has admitted being on HRT. The patient before/afters in the video did not impress me.What do you guys think of Carole Maggio? She's 63 in this video:

My thoughts are that they would help a little, if one does everything else right, like not smoking and wearing sunscreen and eating right. I would think that any bad habit, like not wearing sunscreen would swamp any benefits of facial exercises. It reminds of those people with asymmetric aging from years of sun exposure on one side of their face, like this truck driverCould it be that if we do facial exercises, especially starting at a younger age, that we can possibly forgo the need for a future facelift?

Deficiencies in the labeling of sunscreen remains
June 17, 2013
MPA conducted an audit of sunscreens in 2012 to follow up on the review that was conducted in 2008-2009 . In both surveys was 80 % of the products objections because of lack of evidence for the promised effect , incorrect declaration of contents and shortcomings in the instructions for use. However , there were fewer products exhibited defects affecting product safe use in the examination in 2012 (43%) than in the review from 2008 to 2009 ( 80%).
It is well known that the sun's rays can cause burns, acute and longer-term chronic effects , at worst, skin cancer. To reduce the risk of injury , it is important that the sunscreens on the market provides the protection that they claim to have. It is also important that consumers have sufficient information on how products are used , to provide the best possible protection.
MPA has in 2012 examined the sunscreen on the Swedish market as a follow up of the projects it undertook in 2008-2009. In the previous survey showed about 80 % of products defects affecting product safe use ( insufficient evidence for the sunscreen effect or large errors in labeling , such as the lack of information about how the product will be used , to provide adequate protection) . The proportion of products that had this type of defects had decreased to 43 % at the survey done in 2012.
Inspections in 2012 covered the sunscreen on the Swedish market , and was based on the rules for content , labeling and efficacy evidence in the regulatory framework for cosmetic products as further defined in the European Commission sunscreen recommendation from 2006. A total of 28 items were checked .
Results of the review were :
6 of the products met the requirements was verified
22 products (80%) had deficiencies which MPA has required corrective action
10 of these 22 items were found to have deficiencies did not affect the products' safe use, these have been corrected and is now following requirements
12 products (43%) had deficiencies that could affect their safe use. Of these,
- 5 products voluntarily taken off the market
- 1 product had sales ban
- 6 items corrected and is now following the requirements checked
The level of compliance was judged to be comparable with the previous monitoring project in 2008-2009. The selection of companies and products are less in the project in 2012 (28 items) compared to 2008-2009 (53 items) , making the trend of improvement can not be confirmed as a trend.
- Sunscreens are important products , particularly for children and people with sun-sensitive skin which is relatively common in Sweden. We found a number of inaccuracies, but now there were fewer products had deficiencies that affect security. The products had shortcomings now been corrected or withdrawn from the market , and we have had a good working relationship with the companies. Thus we see that a sunscreen product category with reputable suppliers who strive to sell safe products , says Tomas Byström , investigators at the MPA.
The MPA also appeal to those who want to manufacture or import of sunscreen to ensure that right from the beginning to find out the rules applicable under the regulatory framework for cosmetic products, and the EU Commission sunscreen recommendation.
- There are many requirements to be met . Failure to follow the requirements , there is a clear risk to consumers who use sunscreens do not receive the protection promised , Tomas Byström.
Because of the important protective function of sunscreens MPA will prioritize continued examination of them.
