Very impressive Braf. I'd have guessed 28 from that pic. Contrasting you to a guy that recently worked for me for a week is extraordinary. He was also 45, but he looked 55-60, gray thinning hair, wrinkled skin, at first I thought he was lying to me about his age, but I verified he was 45 via court records (unless he has been lying about his age for years), I suspect he experienced years of alcohol abuse.
Alcohol can do it to you...in far worse ways than taking a toll on your appearance. A committed weekend warrior drinker here, but rarely, if ever, during the week.

Brafarality, you look mid-to-late 20's to me; it's pretty shocking if you're actually 45.
Thanks, Brett. I used to post obnoxious selfies all the time in 2008-2009 here. Some are early on in this thread. Others are strewn about. But, stopped for around 5 years but figured I'd post a new one...especially since I am loving my newz Samsung Galaxy S4. Had a bare basics cell phone whose screen didnt even work for 2 straight years, so going nuts with this new phone. It's like being let out of prison or coming home from being at sea for a year.

Was by no means effortless...years of maintaining a diet and regimen.
Your skin looks amazingly youthful.
You appear to be at a pretty low body fat %, which contributes to the youthful effect I think. Fat necks are terribly aging. I'm curious - what is your BMI?
What is your regimen - diet, sleep, food, supplements, skincare, exercise, whatever - in a nutshell?

Thanks, Blood. You are kind. Mentally fading, but thanks for asking- will try to encapsulate it by tomorrow. Strangely, it is easier to ramble on about health than to specify something in a few sentences! Have a nice evening.

How many years exactly have you been on diets and what regimens?
I´m curious about the high fat vegan diet. Any mealplans etc??? People swear by LCHF diets and it's positive effect on the skin. What do you think about that? Personally I'm thinking that it's the extra fats that does it. Problem is if you are going to ad extra fat, then you need to remove either carbs or meat because of weight gain. What's your take if you would compare the two (atkins/vegan- high fat)?

I am interested in hearing Braf's feedback to your questions. Though I have not made the same observation you have. I am on a LCHF diet, and I have spent a lot of time on Reddit Keto board where people post about all kinds of things they think Keto is doing to their bodies, I don't remember any discussion of people's skin improving since starting a LCHF diet.

Took me a second to realize what LCHF meant...then it hit me. I swear I didn't have to look it up first! Not sure if it works for everyone, but I find high fat along with an equal balance of carbs and protein the most useful. Maybe a bit lower on protein and a bit higher on carbs. I was on an anti-protein kick in the late 2000s, but it was more in word than in diet, since I always had/have hummus and nut butters on a nearly daily basis, both of which have more than adequate amounts of protein. Have been watching a show Naked and Afraid. It is likely that everyone on the show enters a state of ketosis at some point, since few are able to find a reliable food source during the 21 days they are in the wilderness. Well, they usually don't have much of anything, so they border on malnourishment+ketosis as a means to stay alive. Could be interesting to see what they have discovered.

Im doing some modeling/promo stuff to get some extra cash in
im first from left in first pic then second from left in the second pics. The guys with me are 20-23yo, I don't think I look out of place, at close to 37yo can pass for late 20's at least. The night before this I did a 30% Glycolic acid peel just left it on for 1min, I find the next day after doing a peel your skin tightens a lot and the slight inflammation gets rid of those very fine wrinkles for a day or two.

Personally I find my skin more"stretchy" and healthier in general in ketosis.
My grandmother is 94. Everyone says she looks like she's in her seventies. On reflection I don't think she does, she looks like someone in the early 80's, Its how she acts, she's very lively and mobile for her age. Having a longeveity veteran at my disposal I naturally quizzed her about her diet and lifestyle. The results were of course nothing spectacular. She lived on a farm practically her whole life, all natural foods. No d3 or zinc supplements(I'm not saying no-one should take them, as the soils are now depleted). Her husband died at 84 from cancer, the only obvious difference that I can see being alcohol consumption. I'm still trying to reconcile how they did so well when they ate gluten. Home baked but still full of it. It would be fantastic if I could eat it again!
Something she did say resonates with me, as a teenager I dismissed it as older people obviously know nothing:), but she ranted about how people these days don't stop to chat and its all "go go go". Stress could well play a part, live life at a faster pace and expect to travel at break-neck speeds to an early grave.
Good diet + stress free life seems to be the key. Nan has another 10 years easy.

Brafarality yes you look young, I would not say over 30 no way, so thats 15yrs, a good effort and preef the diets and whatever else you are doing works for sure
How bad do people think a few beers per day is? say 1000ml, I do drink but I almost never drink energy drinks or coke anymore. Would people say 3 cans of coke is worse than 3 beers?

Brad pitt looks good for 50 years old blonde man. But he looks average among other male celebrities.I would say he looks like well repaired 50 years old - he is pumped with botox to the edges.

Thanks. Haven't thrown an obnoxious selfie like that up since 2010. Won't do it again for another few years, promise. Was a one-off. As for coke and beer...I'm a good study, cause I drink 3-6 ales/stouts per weekend and have at least a few glasses of diet coke / coke zero daily. Quality beer is definitely better for you, but if you are in good health and have a redundant kind of good diet, then the coke shouldn't do anything to you. Should be more neutral than anything. But, good craft beer is actually a benefit and not just neutral, I believe.

Sometimes I wake up feeling great, just like I did twenty years ago. Then invariably I walk by a mirror and wonder WTF happened???
The best I can do is have an old man head on a ripped body.
Plastic surgery needs to start in your 40's if you want the best results and needs to be updated every few years after that. You need to have a tendency not to scar to be a good candidate. Tom Cruise is a great example of doing it right. Korea is becoming the king of plastics now.

Yep its all here.. every single girl in Gangnam has some kind of surgery, all of them that are under 40, it is an exception to the norm and it looks strange to see a girl without double eyelids even.
LOL I had that same moment just today, when I was in a store and I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror, lol my moment was a thought lept into my head "My face does not match my lifestyle, body and clothes"

Did they do anything beside the eyelid surgery?

Yep I would say a mid face lift, fillers in cheeks, laser resurfacing along with the upper and lower eyelid surgery.
Really changes your perception of this woman, she looks very cold on the left

Pretty impressive, though it would have been a bit cooler demonstration if she had on the same facial expression in both photos. The smile brightens up her appearance on the right along with the procedures.
