Is there anyone who has had success with taking the pills but been unsuccesful while taking the powder? I might have a go at the pills, since i don't notice much from the powder to be honest.

I'm not from the UK but I bought the exact same product from Docsimon and didn't notice any effect. I have no reason to assume the product has faults so I have come to the conclusion that I'm a non-responder to piracetam.

Appreciate the response. I have almost finished 500g powder without any significant noticiable feelings so i am becoming a bit sceptical regarding the pills, even though i feel like giving it a shot. I guess the relentless improvement version stack the same original one so, i shouldn't have much hope there either.
It should be rather clear that if the powder didn't work then the pills won't shouldn't it? Unless your powder (smartpowder) was not genuine.

I must say i've always come to the point where you get tired of being optimistic about it and just feel like ditching out money on other things like centro or galantamine or something. Life is all an experience.

I've bought piracetam from this source and live in the UK. Geratam is RUBBISH. I found that if I took 2400mg together with 250mg centrophenoxine I'd feel a tiny effect after about 2 hours, which was probably just the centro.

The site does however sell this: http://www.docsimon....l-tbl-50x-800mg

This is the real deal and I've been using it for about 4-5 months. As good as Nootropil but without the additives to make it bright orange. The postage is dear but if you're buying in bulk it's worth it.

Geratam is manafactured by the same company that invented piracetam. Could it be that because piracetam becomes more effective over time you didn't notice the effects at first?

Although I value your input, I'm a bit skeptical of your claim. As ryhan said, Geratam is manufactured by UCB, which is the company that first synthesized piracetam. There is a small chance that Docsimon's Geretam is counterfeit though.

It would be great if you had some Geratam left and tried hyperdosing it to see if you react to it in the same way you react to AL's Piracetam. That way we would know for sure if Docsimon's Geratam is real piracetam or not. Piracetam is extremely safe in large doses so that shouldn't be an issue. I have taken up to 9600 milligrams of Geratam a day and as I have said earlier, I didn't notice anything.

Sadly the geratam went in the bin ages ago. I have looked at my notes and I did take it for 3 days when I tried it. I have a good reaction to piracetam plus centrophenoxine and typically notice the effects within a couple of hours after a dose. Day one was 3x 1200mg plus 3x250mg centrophenoxine. Small effect after 2 hours. Day 2 was the same. Day 3 was 3x 2400mg plus 3x250mg centrophenoxine. Same effect. I then switched to Piracetam AL 3x800mg plus 3x250mg centrophenoxine and got the full effect I expect from this combo. One thing I did note was the small effect I got from the Geratam combo lasted about 5 1/2 hours, which is a bit longer than the peak I'd normally expect from piracetam+centro (4ish hours). Perhaps the piracetam in Geratam's been treated with something to make it slow release and is meant to be taken for non nootropic purposes (ischemia prevention in the elderly for example)? Either way I'm sticking to the AL.

Can someone please post the link from BulkNutrition.com or 1fast400.com that sells Piracetam? I searched both sites and nothing was found for the search term "Piracetam"

One website that is hardly mentioned and that sells Piracetam is http://www.nutraplanet.com/search?view[mfg_id]=&view[category_id]=&query=piracetam.

Cheers

Have you heard of attack dosing (also called loading phase)? Some people who use piracetam say that they need to take very large doses of piracetam for the first few days so that the piracetam concentration will rise in the brains adequately.

I too will vouch for the quality of Primaforce Piracetam. It's activated my memory in ways I have not yet been able to duplicate with other brands. For what its worth, I purchased a bulk container from bb-dot-com approximately one year ago (Oct 08), and optimal dosage for me has been approximately 1/6 of a teaspoon 3 times a day as needed with 250mg alpha GPC twice daily.

Interestingly, Primaforce Piracetam has a stronger, more unpleasant taste than other less effective brands I've tried - which frankly do not seem at all unpleasant taken sublingually (allowed to dissolve beneath the tongue).

Am not certain when the CEO changed, or of testing, but I would highly recommend trying Primaforce based on my own experience.

I just received my first order from smartpowders today. I took a few grams this morning. No limbs have fallen off yet, and I appear to be breathing still.

In all seriousness though, I feel the brand loyalty of most members is to the extreme. Anyone who cuts out the middle man, reduces overhead, advertising, and flashy containers is going to be able to bring a cheaper product to the market. I don't feel such an extreme degree of scrutiny is called for. The COA's are there, the containers are sealed.

Having the analysis done is not in any way prohibitively expensive for a major supplier.

Yes, some people swear by it, I've tried it with powder but never with pills. Before I started using the Piracetam AL I bought in a load of the pure powder. I can't remember the brand name but it had black and yellow packaging and was dirt cheap. Perfectly decent piracetam though. I found the effects took less time to come on, were greater weight for weight than the nootropil I'd previously been taking, but didn't last as long. Presumably this could be attributed to the powder dissolving and entering my bloodstream faster than the pills. Since I had a half kilo of the stuff to play with I decided to try 3x5g per day for three days with 3x500mg centro. There was a bit of a difference but not as big as might have been expected. Maybe this was because I'd taken nootropil+ lucidril (800mg+250mg 3 times a day) for a month previously, habituating my brain to these drugs, maybe it's just a quirk of neurochemistry. I have dyscalculia and possibly dyspraxia/ADD (trying to get assessed at the moment) and there are a lot of people affected by ADD and mild autism spectrum disorders in my family so it's quite possible my reactions to it aren't exactly as expected.
