My Aunt is a healthy vegetarian and she has numerous health problems, she was previously health before switching. Her diet consists on rice, beans, brussell sprouts, broccoli, mushrooms, etc. The only healthy vegans i know are joggers and bodybuilders. I sometimes switch to ketogenic diet while I bodybuild, and only consume meat for weeks at a time. My health and outward appearance is phenomenal. I still get carded for cigars at the gas station and supermarket. I know all of this is anecdotal, but I just had to add my two cents.

ps i previously used to believe the low-fat and vegetarian propoganda so i need no lecture on the health benefits of veggies, i still love sweet potatoes and brown rice

I don't quite follow what you are saying. She is healthy or she has health problems? She is more healthy since she switched or not?

I don't think you know what you are talking about, Mr. My grandmother just died of "carb deficiency". Shame on you.

In the end, a paleo diet, a vegan diet, whatever, is not going to produce an indefinite lifespan.

well, why not? while we know Perpetuum Mobile is no possible - the indefinite lifespan (or at least few hundreds) could be actually, providing we use proper fuel and "clean" ourselves from time to time.
Paleo diet maybe is not the best for this since hunting is dangerous ;)

More propaganda about vegan and vegetarian diets.

Don't you think there are plenty of vegans and vegetarians who get carded all the time too and whose health markers are phenomenal too? Let's keep absolute statements out of this from now on.

More propaganda about vegan and vegetarian diets.

how about shaolin monks who were mostly vegetarians, at least what is believed and yet they gain amazing physical efficiency. Some source say though they eat some frogs etc nevertheless their diet was mostly vegan
and they lived around 80 years while the average at that time was 30.

Look at the end of the clip.

can you do this when you 80?
