My thanks to Bruce for uploading the pic - I could not for the life of me figure out how to put my face to the face of cryonics! Here's hoping if I ever really need to "upload", someone will be just as patient showing me how! Thank you for the many kind words - the feeling is mutual! I am so proud of you! Such a young woman, yet so accomplished, so involved - you inspire me! And just so you know - this is a pic of my granddaughter - my adult children (oxymoron?) have been smother-mothered already. They are big and gone...only the occasional dishes, messes and checks now ;-) FYI I suggested that everyone should buy a copy of your book and donate it to their local library. What a great way to support you, cryonics and a library all in one breath!

Oh great idea-- that would be wonderful if people would donate them to their local libriaries!

You make me look forward to being a grandma--but I have many more years of constant dishes and messes! :)

You don't look old enough in that picture for her to be your granddaughter! (you must share your secrets with ImmInst :) )

I look forward to hearing from you about your students reactions :) I'm very interested in what kids in general think of the ideas in it, haven't heard back much yet....

Take care-- and thank you for all your support of cryonics!

I had to send some updated paper work to Alcor--and noticed that my picture was still on the Contact Page ;)

That is me with my baby! (Avalyse--who is now in 07, 5 years old)

I just happened to be in AZ for a random visit when they took that picture for their contact page!

Anyway I thought it was sooo cute, I wanted to share--and it is a funny coincidental fact too ;)

I could submit a picture of myself if it's still relevant to the cause, any word?

I think it is always relevant to put a face to the face of cryonics. I had trouble uploading mine and Bruce kindly did this for me.
I'd love to see you on this page too!

Cheers,
Patrice

Shannon, I'd love to see a wedding pic that you settled on! Have you got a link?

Cheers,
Patrice

I support cryonics. A person has the right to do with their physical bodies as they please. If a Catholic can be buried and read their final rights, an immortalist should be able to enter cryonics in hope of further life.

I have a Cryonic Suspension Agreement with the Cryonics Institute, and of course I give to this cause my full support. I live in a country (Italy) where the law is not so favourable to Cryonics, also because very few people know about it.
I hope many people will realize that Cryonic is a real option and we won't have to worry anymore about obstacles put by laws or ignorance.

if this is still relevant, here is a pic of me:
I support cryonics. People should have the right to be cryopreserved.

I support cryonics. If we don't end up with indefinite life extension in our lifetimes then we are going to end up needing cryonics. So if we don't support it now then we might end up stuck with the much much less desirable formaldehyde or cremation options.

Also, this cryonics research fundraiser here needs the support of the community to happen, so if you haven't gotten in on this already then please do. If you have to go into the tube then your going to want to do it under the most ideal conditions possible. That is what research like this is about.
