Over time, more and more translation projects are occuring to me. They are relatively simple, straight forward, high impact projects that should be relatively fun and easy for chapters to take on. After we collect a bunch here we can start collating them more.
To translate:
imminst.org/film
imminst.org/book
imminst.org/pro-active-material
imminst.org/mission

Heres a sample agenda.
1. Come up with a way to raise funds and set a goal, say $300 - Could do things like: bake sale, sell stuff from imminst.org/store, go door to door taking pledges, collect the money amongst yourselves, say, everybody adds $10 per meeting, etc...
2. Buy copies of the Imminst book, the Scientific Conquest of Death.
3. Come up with an introductory dialogue to use when distributing books.
4. Come up with a list of places to distribute them, grade schools, colleges, public libraries, hospitals, old folks homes, etc...
5. Distribute them.
6. Make a report in your chapter section.

List your meetings in this index: http://www.longecity...al-meetings-r41
Tell people to bring a friend or two.
Try paying for meals.
Tell them it’s an open brainstorming meeting to discuss ideas so you can bring new people in.
Arrange speeches around town, plot out the wording together, practice it at meetings, raise money for venues, assign people to various tasks, etc.
You can currently apply with Longecity for small funds: http://www.longecity...s/action/grants

These are the sorts of things that I think would work well. Perhaps we should find the chapter with the most cohesive and/or biggest group, let them trial out doing some of these things and let them report how they got on? That's if they are willing to be the guinea pigs of course.
