Hello,

I am a scientist in training in the field of genetics/molecular biology. I am interested in devoting my science career into aging research. Thanks for this fantastic forum. I am wondering if someone/some of posters can compile a list of scientists/scholars currently doing research on aging theories, or research on problems which is key issues in aging mechanism (many research on aging mechanisms are a little bit...peripheral). I think this list will help me as well as other readers know better where to proceed further investigation.

Different than a compliation of aging theories, I hope this list can provide resources about which professional/career scientist/scholar are doing aging theory research with sufficient funding, who may also support/hire people to do research in their group.

Hope my suggestion makes sense, thanks a lot!

I've just discovered your post (maybe not too late I hope :( )

I think there is definitely a need for that because science in fact is working as a community of people, not only scientific facts as some people exterior to that might excpect :)

I've posted a thread on that but I didn't receive any answers : http://www.imminst.o...o...c=34853&hl= ...
I think if other people would be interested in that to post here on your thread, or post some other solutions than mine to solve this problem...

Here is a topic similar to the list you are trying to compile, involving all aspects of defeating aging including listing different scientists in the field, started by our Russian members.
