Should I deadlift on back day or leg day?

Just wondering which day would be ideal for deadlifts. I know they target both the legs as well as lower back. When do most of you guys deadlift?

And I am talking just regular deadlift here, not straight leg or anything.

I work them on the same day with great success BUT ...the caveat is that I don't do splits anymore as a full body routine gives me better results.

i think it depends on the intensity of your training. training moderate-heavily, ive found that deadlifting on leg day [dl+squat] almost always gave me overtraining syndrome... deadlifting on back day never gave me problems.

i tend to take an off day after back & an off day after legs.

I think it depends on your split. I hit back and then legs the next day so if I DL on back day then I'm shot and can't squat the next day. So typically I'll throw in a DL on leg day but usually 3 sets of 5 as anymore leads to over training for me.

Yeah I don't split anymore either. Getting better results too.
