Or does your heart rate still peak out at the same value?

I don't consider this to be a good thing though (which is why I'm concerned about aerobic exercise)

Ritalin/Adderall cannot increase the heart rate that you can safely achieve.

The drugs will increase your heart rate compared with what it would normally be at a given point in your physical exercise.

It does increase resting heart rate and blood pressure, but like fiberfiend said, it doesn't increase the heart rate past your maximum.

Test it out for yourself... Find your maximum heart rate, and see if you can achieve this with and without amphetamines.

Plenty of people do aerobic exercise on ritalin/adderal. As always, ask your doctor before starting any new exercise regimen.

Yes, they absolutely will. It sounds like a bad idea, if you remember the reports of people dropping dead on treadmills using ephedrine.
How high do you need your heart reat? If you can't get it up to 160-170 without an upper, there might be something wrong.

Also consider blood pressure. Both of these (most uppers at that) are vasoconstrictors.
